Join our client as a Bilingual Clinical Social Worker (LCSW / LMSW) in New York, NY, providing evidence-based counseling and mental health support to seniors facing challenges such as depression, social isolation, and anxiety. This full-time role involves individual and group therapy in a collaborative setting, offering ongoing training, supervision, and professional development. Bilingual fluency in Spanish, Chinese, or Russian is required.
Compensation : $33 – $40 / hour
Location : New York, NY
Schedule : Monday to Friday (Full-Time)
Responsibilities as the Bilingual Clinical Social Worker (LCSW / LMSW) :
Counseling & Therapy : Provide individual and group therapy using solution-focused, behavioral-oriented, and skill-building approaches to support seniors.
Assessment & Treatment Planning : Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop personalized treatment plans, and monitor progress.
Crisis Intervention & Support : Address urgent mental health needs and connect clients to appropriate resources.
Collaboration & Case Management : Work with healthcare professionals, families, and community resources to coordinate care.
Documentation & Compliance : Maintain accurate records in electronic health systems, ensuring compliance with clinical standards.
Training & Professional Development : Participate in mandatory team meetings, supervision, and CEU in-service training to enhance clinical expertise. Qualifications for the Bilingual Clinical Social Worker (LCSW / LMSW) :
Language Requirement : Bilingual in Spanish, Chinese, or Russian required.
Education : Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) required.
Licensure : Active LCSW or LMSW license in New York State required.
Experience : 1 years of experience in mental health counseling, psychotherapy, or social work, with a strong preference for experience working with seniors.
Technical Proficiency : Strong computer skills required, including experience with electronic health records (EHR) and clinical documentation.
