Job Overview – Clinical Coordinator (LMSW):
Step into a vital leadership role with our client in Brooklyn, NY, as a Clinical Coordinator. In this position, you will supervise Case Managers, promote evidence-based practices, and ensure high-quality care delivery for clients. You will guide clinical interventions, oversee client progress, and maintain compliance with regulatory standards, fostering a supportive and solution-focused environment.
Compensation: $64,000 - $68,000/year
Location: Brooklyn, NY
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Responsibilities as the Clinical Coordinator:
- Team Leadership: Supervise a team of Case Managers, providing regular, structured supervision and support.
- Clinical Direction: Implement and promote best practices, including Housing First, Harm Reduction, Motivational Interviewing, and trauma-informed care.
- Service Planning: Oversee the development and execution of individual service plans, ensuring timely and thorough documentation of client contact and progress.
- Client Engagement: Conduct interviews and assessments for potential clients, promoting engagement and addressing challenging behaviors.
- Collaboration: Coordinate care delivery with multiple service providers and outreach teams to support client success and housing stability.
Qualifications for the Clinical Coordinator:
- Education: NYS Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW) required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years working with related populations, with supervisory and administrative experience.
- Clinical Expertise: Strong understanding of Housing First, Harm Reduction, motivational interviewing, and behavioral/medical health systems.
- Skills: Proficient in crisis intervention, risk assessment, and incident management, with the ability to delegate and motivate staff effectively.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse populations and stakeholders.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams); familiarity with Access-based databases preferred.
