Job Overview - Employment Specialist (MSW):

Join our client as an Employment Specialist (MSW), supporting individuals with severe and persistent mental illness, in Philadelphia, PA. This role focuses on coordinating employment assessments and providing guidance through treatment, rehabilitation, and service coordination.

Compensation: $27/hour

Location: Philadelphia, PA

Schedule: 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday (Rotating Shifts)

Responsibilities as the Employment Specialist (MSW):

• Employment Coordination: Work with the multidisciplinary team to coordinate employment assessments and planning for clients.
• Case Management: Provide service coordination for assigned clients, monitor treatment activities, and update treatment plans as needed.
• Treatment Planning: Develop, implement, evaluate, and revise treatment goals and plans in collaboration with clients and the individual treatment team.
• Client Support: Offer guidance and support to clients, helping them navigate employment rehabilitation and access to necessary services.

Qualifications for the Employment Specialist (MSW):

• Education: Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
• Experience: 2 years of Employment Rehabilitation experience required (experience with severe and persistent mental illness preferred).
• Skills: Ability to build supportive and trusting relationships with clients, with respect for client rights and personal preferences in treatment.
• Licensure: Must possess a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Commitment: Strong commitment to helping individuals with severe mental illness achieve their employment goals.
