About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Physical Medicine and Rehab (PM&R) Physician to join our growing team, caring for patients across our White Plains and Yonkers locations. In this role, you will focus on diagnosing, evaluating, and treating patients with traumatic injuries and pain management needs, playing a key part in restoring their functionality and well-being.
As a PM&R Physician, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, surgeons, specialists, physician assistants, and other talented staff to provide the highest quality care to our community. Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, manage, and treat pain caused by injuries, illnesses, or medical conditions.
- Conduct thorough examinations to identify complex diagnoses and create personalized treatment plans.
- Develop and oversee rehabilitation plans aimed at restoring functionality and promoting overall well-being.
- Document all patient evaluations, treatments, and progress in accordance with company policies.
- Educate patients about their diagnosis and ensure they understand their treatment plans.
- Prescribe appropriate medications and administer pain-relieving injections as needed.
- Provide guidance on exercise, nutrition, and healthy lifestyle practices.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress during and after treatment.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Qualifications
- Medical Degree from an accredited university.
- New York State Medical License (required).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a PM&R Physician.
- Previous clinical experience in work and motor vehicle-related injuries (preferred).
- Authorized to handle Workers’ Compensation cases (required).
- Licensed Acupuncturist (preferred).
- In-depth knowledge of No-Fault and Workers’ Compensation laws and regulations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a commitment to patient-centered care.
