Overview: We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to maintain and clean multiple properties. The role will involve cleaning Airbnb apartment units to prepare them for guest arrivals and ensuring that office spaces and the general building are clean, organized, and well-maintained. This position offers variety and flexibility, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working in different settings.
Responsibilities:
Airbnb Apartments:
- Clean and sanitize all areas of the apartment units, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, living spaces, and hallways.
- Change bed linens, make beds, and arrange towels neatly for guest use.
- Restock toiletries, paper products, and cleaning supplies in the bathrooms and kitchen.
- Clean high-touch surfaces (e.g., doorknobs, light switches, remotes) and ensure they are disinfected.
- Empty trash and recycling bins, ensuring the space is clean and clutter-free.
- Clean and maintain appliances (microwave, oven, fridge) and ensure they are ready for guest use.
- Perform deep cleaning tasks (e.g., windows, floors, carpets) when needed between guest stays.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages in the apartment to management.
- Ensure each unit meets Airbnb’s cleanliness and safety standards before guest check-in.
Office and Building Cleaning:
- Clean and sanitize office spaces, including desks, floors, and common areas.
- Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors in office areas, hallways, bathrooms, and kitchenettes.
- Restock office supplies (toilet paper, soap, paper towels) and ensure dispensers are fully stocked.
- Clean and disinfect bathrooms, ensuring they are presentable and well-maintained.
- Dust and clean furniture, equipment, and any office appliances.
- Empty trash cans in office spaces and common areas.
- Maintain the general cleanliness and tidiness of the building’s shared areas (lobbies, stairwells, etc.).
- Ensure that all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly maintained and replenished.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in housekeeping, cleaning, or custodial work preferred, especially in hospitality or office environments.
- Ability to clean and sanitize a variety of spaces (apartments and office environments) to the highest standards.
- Strong attention to detail and organization.
- Ability to manage multiple properties and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent time management and ability to work independently.
- Good communication skills for reporting issues or providing updates to management.
- Ability to handle cleaning chemicals and equipment safely.
- Reliable transportation and flexibility to work across different locations.
- Availability to work during weekdays, with occasional weekend shifts depending on needs.
