Job Title: Fabrication Kitter
Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fabrication Kitter to join our team. The Fabrication Kitter will be responsible for gathering, organizing, and preparing parts and materials for the fabrication process. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret work orders to determine parts and materials needed for fabrication
- Gather and organize parts and materials from inventory
- Prepare kits of parts and materials for each job according to specifications
- Maintain accurate records of parts and materials used and inventory levels
- Assist with inventory management and restocking of parts and materials as needed
- Work closely with the fabrication team to ensure parts and materials are delivered on time and in the correct quantities
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a fabrication or manufacturing environment preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work orders
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects
- Basic computer skills & understanding of ERP
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour
