Production Supervisor

Essential Functions:

· Manage the activities of the shop floor, under the direction of the Operations Manager and follow all established procedures and approved processes.

· Supervise all production operations of Automotive Mechanical Assembly.

· Plan, schedule and coordinate departmental activities to fulfill scheduled deliveries.

· Execute decisions in order to solve problems while conducting his/her responsibilities, ensuring production plans are met and operations are within approved budgets.

· Understands and complies with all health/safety rules and procedures.

Requirements:

· Will have a thorough knowledge of all assembly techniques, manufacturing methods, and related equipment.

· Must be able to read and interpret drawings and specifications.

· Must be familiar with product construction and application.

· Must have complete knowledge of production scheduling and shop operations.

· This position requires that the person be a highly organized, self-motivated individual who can work independently.

· Must have strong leadership skills, with excellent oral and written communication skills.

· Must be able to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and easily adapt to changing situations.

· Will be computer literate, particularly in the shop floor control, production planning, and inventory control applications.

· Excellent organizational skills.

· Knowledge and adherence of all safety and environmental policies.

Physical Demands:

· Some physical exertion required

· Regularly required to sit, stand, walk and occasionally bend and move about the facility

Personal Protection Equipment:

· Safety glasses are required

Work Environment:

· Works in an office and manufacturing environment

· Exposure to dust, odors, fumes and noise

Education and Experience Requirements:

· High School Diploma or equivalency required

· 4 -8 years experience in an industry/manufacturing

· Prior experience supervising and/or leading other employees

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
