What You’ll Do:
Claims Investigation & Resolution:
- Investigate vehicle damage claims using security footage, employee statements, and customer reports.
- Assess damages for coverage eligibility and determine liability based on company policies.
- Document claims timely and accurately, maintaining detailed records of incidents and resolutions.
Customer Interaction & Support:
- Communicate with customers to gather details, address concerns, and provide a seamless claims experience.
- Prioritize customer experience by listening to concerns, de-escalating situations, and maintaining professionalism.
Repair & Risk Management:
- Order replacement parts or coordinate repairs with body shops when necessary.
- Collaborate with internal teams to process claims efficiently and improve risk management operations.
Technology & Analysis:
- Utilize security cameras and claims software to analyze incidents and support investigations.
- Participate in special projects to enhance claims processes and customer satisfaction.
Required Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of customer service experience OR 1-2 years in claims handling or risk management preferred.
- Previous experience in automotive services, retail, or safety/compliance-related roles is a plus.
- Strong computer skills and ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High attention to detail for accurate claim reviews and documentation.
- Ability to de-escalate customer concerns and handle sensitive situations with professionalism.
- General understanding of car maintenance or a willingness to learn.
Position Details:
- Full-Time, Non-Exempt
- In-office position
- Comfortable with occasional on-site work and standing for long periods.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required, including close vision.
- Availability for Saturday shifts as part of the regular schedule.
