What You’ll Do:
Financial Transactions & Accounting Support:
- Record and process accounts payable and receivable transactions with accuracy and efficiency.
- Verify and enter invoices while ensuring timely payments to vendors.
- Assist in preparing monthly financial statements, including balance sheets and profit & loss statements.
- Reconcile accounts, including cash disbursements, payroll, and customer accounts.
Administrative & Budget Support:
- Maintain accurate documentation and financial records in compliance with company policies.
- Assist with budget data entry, adjustments, and reconciliations in financial software.
- Prepare and distribute checks to employees and vendors.
- Oversee receipt reconciliation and maintain Divvy budgets.
- Support special projects and assignments as needed.
What You Bring to the Team:
- Experience: 1-3 years of experience in accounts payable and receivable is required. Additional experience is a plus.
- Software Proficiency: Previous experience with QuickBooks is required. Familiarity with NetSuite and the Divvy Credit Card platform is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in data entry, 10-key skills, and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and Google Docs (Docs, Sheets).
- Detail-Oriented & Organized: Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Financial Knowledge: Prior experience in budget preparation, reconciliation, and tax return processing is a plus.
- Strong Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
Position Details:
- Part Time Non-Exempt: 20-30 hours per week
- In-Office Position: Based at our St. George Support office, with occasional on-site work.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25 pounds; specific vision abilities required, including close vision.
