Description:
The General Manager will oversee the operations at Tagg-N-Go's Lehi Flex Serve site. The Flex Serve include our car wash tunnel and interior express detailing operations. The General Manager will lead and supervise the Tunnel Manager and Interior Express Manager, ensuring that the whole site follows our internal processes, and always looking for process improvement. As Tagg-N-Go continues to grow, the desire is to have our Flex Serve locations act as the primary hub for the surrounding areas - for the company and the community.
We offer a competitive salary starting at $80,000 per year, with the potential for higher compensation based on experience and qualifications.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and hold site employees accountable
- Own and manage employee training, scheduling, and labor costs
- Ensure that safety and security are emphasized, practiced, and periodically reviewed
- Enforce company policies and procedures and communicate changes
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements and company policy
- Lead the recruitment, onboarding, discipline, and dismissal processes
- Conduct performance reviews, and build a positive and rewarding culture as you exhibit extreme ownership and set the tone for your site
- Coach, motivate, and train new and existing employees
- Develop great customer relationships and address customer concerns, questions, and needs
- Maintain excellent site appearance
- Ensure that the wash is operating properly by monitoring the quality of the wash, addressing areas for improvement, and resolving wash issues
- Complete basic equipment maintenance including regularly scheduled maintenance to ensure machinery is in proper working order
- Perform administrative duties including paperwork, inventory, and documentation
- Meet and exceed established volume, revenue, and profitability goals
- Attract, recruit, develop and retain employees
- Complete daily, weekly, and monthly checklist on building, lot, and equipment
Qualifications:
- 7 years management experience required
- 2 years of experience managing multiple sites/units is preferred.
- 5 years of customer service experience required.
- Those with additional years of experience are encouraged to apply.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Polite, approachable, and friendly demeanor
- Top-notch organizational, time management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate when appropriate.
- Basic mechanic knowledge is preferred.
- Ability to work outside in varying temperatures.
- Self-motivated with a desire to learn.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- May be required to climb ladders as part of cleaning duties
Position Details:
- Full-Time, Exempt
- 10 hour shift, 5 days a week
- Weekend availability, various shifts
- On call on “off” days
- Be present on site
- Limited in office time ( 80 % outside with team engagement )
