Server
Taggart’s Grill is now accepting applications for experienced Servers to join our Team! We currently have 1-2 part time or 1 full time position available . As a Server you’ll be the face of the restaurant and will have the opportunity to work with a great team, make great money, and gain experience at one of Utah’s highest rated restaurants. You need to be quick on your feet (literally and metaphorically), be an excellent teammate, and have a polite and friendly attitude. If you have serving experience, enjoy talking to people and thrive in a fast-paced workplace, we’d like to meet you. Your ultimate goal will be to provide high-quality service that will help us maintain existing and attract new customers.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests, take orders, serve food and beverages
- Attend to customers throughout their meal
- Anticipate the needs of your tables and pre-bus throughout the meal
- Provide menu and daily specials information
- Answer questions or make recommendations for complementary products
- Collaborate with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff
- Deal with complaints or problems with a positive attitude
- Issue bills, accept payments, and submit daily turn-ins
- Restocking of consumables throughout the shift
- Assist with cleaning and setting tables when needed
Skills
- Proven restaurant serving or waitering experience
- Hands-on experience in cashier duties
- Attention to cleanliness and safety
- Patience and customer-oriented approach
- Excellent people skills with a friendly attitude
- Responsible and trustworthy
- Ability to be a strong team player
- High school diploma is a plus but not required
