Job Description
The Production Planner will play a pivotal role in the Supply Chain, utilizing their expertise in planning and inventory management to ensure timely and accurate delivery of customer orders.
This position requires collaboration with various departments, including Sales, Logistics, Procurement, and Manufacturing, to meet internal and external customer needs. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Operations Management or a related field and at least 3 years of experience as a Production Planner.
- Establishes and maintains the Master Production Schedule (MPS) for assigned production lines, aiming to achieve optimal lead times, inventory levels, and production efficiencies.
- Trains new team members on production line complexities and assigns order finish dates to ensure cost-effective on-time delivery.
- Generates and reviews daily reports on production activity, order backlog, inventory status, and other metrics, presenting them to relevant employees to facilitate decision-making.
