SAP Technical Architect
The SAP Technical Architect is responsible for the technical design and implementation of SAP solutions within an organization. This role requires deep technical expertise in SAP systems, including integration, customizations, performance optimization, and troubleshooting. The architect will work closely with functional consultants, developers, and project managers to ensure SAP solutions meet business needs, technical specifications, and overall system architecture.
Responsibilities :
- Design and implement SAP technical architecture, ensuring it aligns with business requirements and technical standards.
- Lead the technical design of SAP solutions, including custom developments, integrations, and data migrations.
- Evaluate SAP technologies and make recommendations for improvements or optimizations.
- Collaborate with functional SAP consultants to ensure integration across SAP modules
- Design and implement interfaces between SAP and third-party systems.
- Work with developers to deliver custom SAP solutions, including reports, forms, and workflows.
- Monitor the performance of SAP systems and implement tuning strategies to optimize system performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in the SAP environment.
- Ensure the technical integrity of the SAP landscape by adhering to best practices for performance, security, and scalability.
- Work with cross-functional teams, including functional consultants, business analysts, and developers, to ensure successful project delivery.
- Participate in code reviews, technical workshops, and design discussions.
- Plan and oversee SAP system upgrades, migrations, and patch management.
- Manage SAP change management processes, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams, design specifications, and user manuals.
- Provide regular status reports to senior leadership and stakeholders regarding SAP technical initiatives and progress.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
