Essential Functions :
- Ensures the team provides exceptional guest service at all times
- Leads, motivates, and trains team members
- Stocks and maintains sufficient levels of food products at line stations to assure smooth service period
- Execute recipes to the letter and assumes 100% responsibility for quality of products served
- Portions food products prior to cooking according to recipe specifications
- Prepares food by operating a variety of kitchen equipment to measure and mix ingredients, washing, peeling. cutting, and shredding fruits and vegetables, and trimming and cutting meat, poultry, or fish for culinary use
- Follows all food safety and sanitation standards
- Follows and completes production sheets, manages inventory, prepares the order for approval
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Able to meet deadlines in completion of daily workload
- Set up and tear down of workstation
- Polite and professional communication style
- May select recipes per menu cycle, prepare bakery items, and receive inventory
- Understands and utilizes FIFO
- Performs other related duties as requested by the leadership team
