Tahoe Donner Association is looking for strong and competent Trail Maintenance Workers to join our Trails Department! The Trail Maintenance Worker is responsible for the clearing of logs, brushes and rocks from trail corridors. This position is also responsible for building, improving and cleaning of trail drainage structures such as water bars, check dams, drain clips and French drains. This position assists in the construction of new trails and the realignment of existing trails, closing and rehabilitation/obliteration of unsustainable trails, construction and/or maintenance of structures including bridges, steps, culvers and turnpikes, and in the installation and removal of trail system signage.

- Cut trees and brush in the trail system.
- Assists forestry crew with piling and/or chipping brush and slash.
- Assists forestry crew with burning slash piles in either spring or fall.

- Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), AED, and First Aid certifications recommended.
- Proficient with use and maintenance of hand tools, such as McLeod, Pulaski, shovel, rock bar, and sledgehammer.
- Ability to operate and/or assist with the operation of Toro Dingo machine, chainsaw, brush cutter, woodchipper, and other related equipment and tools as directed.
