Job Summary: The Guest Experience and Concierge Specialist is responsible for delivering exceptional service to Members and Guests of Tahoe Mountain Club. This role requires a hands-on approach to daily operations, ensuring member satisfaction, adherence to Club standards, and compliance with safety regulations. The Specialist will act as the primary point of contact for Members and Guests, providing personalized assistance, promoting Club activities, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
Job Tasks:
- Represent the Club in a professional manner that upholds its high standards of excellence.
- Greet Members and Guests warmly upon arrival and departure, addressing them by name when possible.
- Provide concierge-level assistance by answering inquiries, making recommendations, and fulfilling requests promptly.
- Promote awareness of daily Club activities, events, and services to enhance the Member experience.
- Manage access to Club facilities, ensuring proper use of membership cards and collecting guest fees where applicable.
- Handle administrative tasks such as issuing membership cards, taking photos for IDs, and maintaining accurate records.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately while processing transactions.
- Monitor facilities for cleanliness, safety compliance, and visual presentation standards. Perform opening and closing duties as assigned.
- Respond swiftly to emergencies or safety concerns in accordance with facility policies.
- Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., Member Services Manager) to ensure seamless operations.
- Participate in staff meetings and training sessions as required.
- Perform additional tasks or assist other team members as needed due to fluctuating demands.
Because of the fluctuating demands of the Club’s operation, it may be necessary that each employee perform a multitude of different functions; therefore, as an essential part of your job, you will be expected to help others when the occasion arises, just as other employees are expected to help you. Accordingly, you may be expected to perform other tasks, not specifically addressed above.
Reports to: Member Services and Reservation Manager
Supervises: No supervisory duties are required of this position.

Education/Experience: Must be 18 years of age or older. High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in hospitality, customer service, or related environment.
Language/Communication: Ability to read and speak English required in order to perform the duties of the job (e.g. the Crew Members may be required to communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers, the manuals for the equipment the Crew Members may use are in English). Must be able to work as part of a team and maintain open communication with managers and fellow coworker. Must display professional demeanor and always communicate in professional language.
Certifications/Licenses/Safety Training: As determined by TMC policies and procedures.
