ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT / SALES SUPPORT

Tahoe Specialty Flooring & Window Design, a Flooring America and Hunter Douglas Gallery Dealer, provides custom window coverings and draperies, fine carpet, hardwood, laminate and engineered vinyl plank, tile, and natural stone for residential and commercial clients throughout the Lake Tahoe area.
We have an outstanding opportunity for a highly organized and detail-oriented self-starter to interact with new and existing clients and provide administrative and sales support at our Tahoe City showroom.
Responsibilities:
- Serve a critical role supporting our sales team including preparation of quotes, bids and job proposals
- Assist clients, including scheduling appointments, both in person and over the phone
- Serve as a liaison between clients and estimators/project managers to ensure the highest level of customer care throughout the quoting, planning, scheduling and installation processes
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of all showroom products, vendors and mill representatives
- Participate in the sales process by understanding clients’ design aspirations and recommending products to turn those ideas into reality
- Complete project research, data entry and administrative duties
Qualifications:
- 1 year of administrative/sales support experience in a professional and/or retail environment
- Detail oriented and excited to embrace multiple and ever-changing priorities
- Professional with a can-do attitude exhibiting energy and enthusiasm
- Strong communication, interpersonal, customer service, multi-tasking, problem solving and computer skills including Microsoft Office proficiency
- Team player that thrives working independently and enjoys interacting with others
- Experience in interior design and/or window treatments a plus
- Driver’s license required
