What are the responsibilities and job description for the Automation Control Engineer position at TAI Engineering?
Looking for an opportunity to support innovative Biotech projects? We have an immediate need for an Automation Engineer who will support the design, installation, testing, turnover and operations of the site Building Management Systems and Environmental Management Systems (EMS).
Here's a taste of what you'll be doing :
- Own and manage the Building Management System, ensuring that facilities, equipment, and environmental systems are within specified ranges and that operating systems function properly.
- Perform the programming, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Equipment Monitoring System and Building Management System issues and alarms to ensure continuous operation and performance.
- Resolve routine technical and engineering issues with guidance.
- Programming Distributed Control Systems (Emerson, Delta V, Siemens Building Management Systems and Factory Talk) and PLCs (Allen Bradley, Siemens and GE etc.).
- Support plant communications network (Ethernet IP, Device net and Modbus).
- Develop and implement training programs necessary to transfer knowledge and / or procedures to production or laboratory personnel dealing with manufacturing techniques or process equipment.
- Assist in qualification of equipment / review of sequence of operations for facilities team.
