Looking for an opportunity to support facilities projects at a pharmaceutical manufacturer for a nationally-recognized design-build firm? TAI Engineering has four immediate openings for Building Management Technicians to support preventative and corrective maintenance tasks within the facilities at the Frederick Manufacturing campus.

- Painting, drywall, cleaning, pest control, light plumbing work, light door repairs and adjustments, and stormwater management.
- Possess appropriate knowledge and experience to receive work orders, execute tasks, and/or oversee work performed by 3rd party building maintenance contractors.
- Master all aspects of the routine building walkthroughs to the point of being able to carry out tasks independently.
- Accompany and supervise contractors and contracted work crews as needed.
- Maintain a safe work environment; work in a safe manner following all safety SOPs and wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
- Perform installation and relocation of office fixtures, lab equipment, and manufacturing equipment.
- Dismantle, adjust, repair, and assemble equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, repair manuals, rough sketches, and drawings.
- Perform all activities in compliance with applicable cGMP regulations, FDA, USP and ISPE guidelines
- Champion GMP compliance and maintenance best practices to support a best-in-class maintenance program.
- Identify and recommend initiatives for continuous improvement.
- Document and review GMP maintenance activities in SAP.
- Assisting with building support services as needed.
- Perform building and equipment inspections to proactively identify maintenance needs.
- Submit SAP notifications for nonstandard conditions.
- Provide emergency support off hours as required.
- High school diploma, technical school or military training and experience in a relevant field.
- Co-op or multiple years of experience in a trades role such as HVAC/refrigeration, electrical, carpentry or plumbing.
- Good mechanical and electrical aptitude required.
