At TAI Engineering, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Controls Engineer to lead our electrical automation projects in the Life Sciences industry. With a background in specifying, designing, and programming control systems, this role offers a unique opportunity to spearhead critical projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and apply industry standards (ANSI, ISPE, ISA, IEEE) to ensure project compliance.
- Prepare and critique engineering studies, analysis of systems, and preliminary and detailed engineering designs.
- Develop and review engineering specifications and project cost estimates.
- Direct and review work of project design teams, monitor progress, and alert managers to changes in scope and additional services.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or Industrial preferred).
- Minimum of eight years of design experience with a focus on distributed control systems within the Life Sciences industry.
- Familiarity with digital and analog instrumentation, electrical components, and industrial communication protocols.
- Experience with Rockwell family of processors, HMI's, and other controls systems is a plus.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C , or Java is beneficial.
