In this role, you'll be responsible for perform all tasks related to execution of quality control; including but not limited to task planning and scheduling, design and document reviews, document development, field observations/inspections, witnessing start-ups and contractor tests, quality control, review of final reports, and participating in project meetings.
Here's a taste of what you'll be doing:
- Provide Quality Control Services for all electrical construction related activities on the project.
- Review the electrical design drawings and specifications and provide comments as required.
- Review the electrical construction in progress and identify any noted deviations from the contract documents.
- Maintain a QC log for all issues identified during construction.
- Develop all field test procedures that are to be conducted by Contractors and witnessed by the client.
- Witness all electrical field tests and sign off for all successful tests.
You'll be a perfect fit if you have:
- Bachelor’s Degree within Electrical Engineering and five years of experience.
- Candidates without a degree and who have at least a decade of experience in the electrical construction industry may be considered.
- Experience with providing Quality Control of construction documents for the electrical discipline.
- Demonstrated experience in the electrical construction industry, in startup, acceptance testing and performance field verification of electrical systems including: instrumentation, direct digital controls systems, power monitoring, permanent and temporary power equipment, feeders, vaults, cabling, wiring, terminations, substations, switchgear, breakers, fire alarm, sprinkler and security systems, phone and data communications systems.
- Working knowledge of National Electrical Codes, NFPA70E, and OSHA guidelines regarding safe construction practices.
- Experience performing technical reviews of design packages, equipment startup documents, 3rd party testing reports, commissioning scripts, and acceptance tests.
- Effective leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of design and regulatory Codes and Standards.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products.

Compensation and benefits offering:
- Pay: $115k - $140k (based on experience)
- Annual Profit Sharing Bonus (variable depending on firm’s performance, employee performance, and tenure).
