Intern - Process Design Engineering

We are seeking college students who have an interest in process-mechanical design engineering to join us this summer for an internship.

TAI’s Process Engineering Group have proven capabilities in all phases of process development and design. We support our client’s process needs through the following engineering service offerings: Process Research and Development, Process Optimization, Conceptual Design & Scope Development, Economic Evaluations, Process Design, Commissioning and Start-up Services, and Process Troubleshooting.

TAI Is Seeking Several College Interns To Support Our Process Engineering Division This Summer. Interns Will Receive Mentorship From Our Experienced Engineering Team. Additionally, The Interns Will Receive Direct Work Experience Related To Providing Basic Engineering And Drafting Support For Industrial Design Projects For Industrial, Power, Oil & Gas, Manufacturing, Pharmaceutical, Food & Beverage Facilities. Interns Will Gain Experience With

• Build standard pipe support standards in AutoCad.
• Build valve libraries in Plant 3D and Revit.
• Researching applicable industry standards.
• Assisting with preparing engineering studies, analysis of systems, preliminary and detailed engineering designs.
• Interpreting and applying applicable codes.
• Editing of mechanical/process construction drawings, including general arrangements, P&IDs, flow diagrams, piping orthographics and isometrics, equipment, and bill of materials.
• Specifying equipment
• Assist in conducting detailed field surveys of buildings, structures, equipment, piping and supports and documenting the existing conditions in CAD
  
  

Qualifications:

• Current college student pursuing degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial or other relevant program).
• Experience with AutoCAD, Plant 3D, or Revit is strongly preferred.
• Experienced with Microsoft Office applications – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project
• Good verbal and written communication skills, good customer relation skills, a positive work attitude, and willingness to learn new skills.
• Self-motivated and able to produce high quality results within time and budget constraints.
• Able to work in the office and field, as this is a hands-on internship.
  
  

Compensation Offering
