Interns Will Gain Experience With
- Build standard pipe support standards in AutoCad.
- Build valve libraries in Plant 3D and Revit.
- Researching applicable industry standards.
- Assisting with preparing engineering studies, analysis of systems, preliminary and detailed engineering designs.
- Interpreting and applying applicable codes.
- Editing of mechanical/process construction drawings, including general arrangements, P&IDs, flow diagrams, piping orthographics and isometrics, equipment, and bill of materials.
- Specifying equipment
- Assist in conducting detailed field surveys of buildings, structures, equipment, piping and supports and documenting the existing conditions in CAD
- Current college student pursuing degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial or other relevant program).
- Experience with AutoCAD, Plant 3D, or Revit is strongly preferred.
- Experienced with Microsoft Office applications – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project
- Good verbal and written communication skills, good customer relation skills, a positive work attitude, and willingness to learn new skills.
- Self-motivated and able to produce high quality results within time and budget constraints.
- Able to work in the office and field, as this is a hands-on internship.
- $20/hr, non-exempt
