What are the responsibilities and job description for the New Hire Onboarding Coordinator position at tai?
This role can be hybrid or remote - Washington State or Oregon residents strongly preferred. This New Hire Onboarding Coordinator will collaborate with multiple internal teams and new hires to facilitate a smooth and efficient onboarding process. This person will also perform duties to support the Talent Acquisition team.
This role understands the values and mission of the organization and brings existing knowledge of both recruiting and hiring practices for licensed medical professionals.
Responsibilities include coordinating new hire onboarding functions for multiple departments to ensure all information is shared in a timely and collaborative manner while also effectively communicating status changes across multiple departments.
This person will also focus on relationship building with internal team members and act as a brand ambassador for new hires.

How you will make an impact
- Support multiple teams involved in the New Hire Onboarding functions, including drafting offer letters, initiating background checks, entering new hire details into the HRIS and more.
- Support Recruiting including refreshing job postings, scheduling interviews, maintaining reports and more.
- Communicate updates and status changes to internal teams, external vendors, and new hires.
- Assist new hires with onboarding paperwork including I-9s, credentialing documentation and more.
- Spot areas for improvement and present recommendations to team leadership.
- Perform and support other related duties and projects as assigned in support of TAI’s mission and core values.
- Other responsibilities as directed by Talent Acquisition and Human Resources leadership.
Minimum qualifications
- 1 years of professional experience working within a Talent Acquisition or Human Resources department - Preferably involving onboarding licensed medical professionals as new hires. Credentialing experience strongly preferred.
- 1 years of experience using an ATS, Onboarding or HRIS platforms (Dayforce or Greenhouse highly preferred).
- 3 years of experience heavily working in Microsoft suite.
- Experience using a variety of technical platforms efficiently with limited direction.
- Experience effectively prioritizing tasks and pivoting in an environment where timelines can shift.
- Experience maintaining a consistently high attention to detail.
- Experience building and nurturing relationships, both internal and external.
- Strong communication skills including both written and verbal.
- Exceptional skills related to time management, critical thinking, multi-tasking and organization.
- Ability to work independently and effectively participate in a highly collaborative environment.
- Ability to and commitment to maintaining strict confidentiality regarding sensitive data.
Preferred qualifications
- Some familiarity with HR best practices would be beneficial.

- Must be able to travel domestically up to 15%.
