Position Summary:
Interns will work closely with senior-level biostatisticians on topics related to the clinical study design and analysis of clinical trials and/or nonclinical research on oncology/hematology.
Performance Objectives:
Conduct literature research.
Apply innovative statistical methods and/or computational tools to clinical trial.
Perform data analysis and simulations to answer research questions.
Present project work to internal and external stakeholders.
Write summary reports.
Education/Certification Requirements:
In an undergraduate program, completing at least sophomore year.
Completed course work in Statistics/Mathematics, or Science/Data Sciences, or Computer or related areas by summer 2025.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Excellent reading, writing and analytical skills
Proficient in one programming language/software
Self-management skills with a focus on results for timely and accurate completion of competing deliverables
Ability to be creative and innovative
Demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
The incumbent in this position may be required to perform other duties, as assigned.
The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $18 to $22 per hour. This pay range is based on the market range for positions of this type. However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, commissions, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
