Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and an ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area. Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and offering recommendations.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including washing glassware, cleaning countertops, and disposing of waste.
- Manage inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and supplies; assist in ordering when necessary.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions accurately.
- Adhere to all food handling and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for both staff and guests.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service when necessary.
- Handle cash and credit transactions with accuracy while following proper cash handling procedures.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service or bartending is preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems; experience with Aloha POS is a plus.
- Strong basic math skills for handling transactions and managing tabs.
- Knowledge of retail math concepts related to inventory management is beneficial.
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle busy shifts.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
- A passion for the food industry and fine dining experiences is highly desirable.
- Must possess valid food handling certification as required by local regulations.
