Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating exceptional beverage experiences for our guests while maintaining a vibrant atmosphere.
Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking drink orders, and ensuring timely delivery of beverages.
- Manage cash handling efficiently, including operating the cash register and processing payments through the POS system.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and restocking supplies as needed.
- Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and garnishes; assist in ordering supplies when necessary.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring compliance with local laws regarding alcohol service.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service during busy periods.
- Demonstrate effective time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Bartender in a nightclub or restaurant setting is preferred.
- Strong cash handling skills with basic math proficiency for accurate transactions.
- Knowledge of brewing techniques and beverage preparation methods is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage customers in a friendly manner.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash registers is advantageous.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as required by business needs.
