A kind and down-to-earth family in McFarland, WI is seeking a nurturing and experienced Mother’s Helper/Nanny for their infant twins.
This is an April–September position, offering a unique opportunity to support first-time parents as they adjust to life with newborns.
About the Family:
This active, outdoorsy couple enjoys running, traveling, and spending time outside. They also share their home with their sweet older Husky, so their ideal caregiver will be comfortable around dogs.
They are looking for a nanny to support them starting in April when the twins are born through the end of Summer when they move. Mom is finishing her residency and will need full-time care the month of June when she goes back for her last month at the hospital.
Role & Responsibilities:
April–May 28th: Mother’s Helper Role (guaranteed 30 hours/week)
- Assisting mom with infant care, feedings, and maintaining their schedules
- Establishing a gentle routine and helping with baby-related organization
- Light baby-related household tasks (bottle prep, baby laundry, tidying nursery)
May 28th–End of June: Full-Time Nanny Role (40 hours/week)
- Transitioning to sole care of both babies when mom returns to work June 1st
- Ensuring a safe and nurturing environment
- Supporting developmental milestones and engaging babies in age-appropriate activities
- Maintaining organization around nap schedules, feedings, and daily care routines
July-August 29th: Hybrid of full-time care of babies and Mother's Helper role
Ideal Candidate:
The family is looking for an experienced, calm, and reliable caregiver who has:
✔ Significant newborn experience, with twins and/or multiples
✔ Strong organizational and communication skills
✔ The ability to work independently without micromanagement
✔ A patient and supportive approach as first-time parents adjust to their new roles
✔ Comfort around dogs, as the family has a Husky
Schedule & Compensation:
Start Date: Early April (when babies are ~1 month old)
End Date: August
- April–May 28th: 30 hours/week, Monday–Friday (late morning to early afternoon)
- Month of June: 40 hours/week, Monday–Friday
- July-August 29th: 30 hours/week, Monday-Friday (late morning to early afternoon)
Hourly Rate: $26–$28 /hr (guaranteed 30 hours/week)
Benefits:

Additional Notes:
- The home has a driveway available for parking
- The nanny may be asked to feed the family’s Husky as part of their routine
- Severe nut and sunflower seed allergy present in the household
