Are you an energetic and caring nanny looking for a fun summer position? A wonderful family is seeking a nurturing and responsible summer nanny to care for their two children, ages 5 and 8, from June 11th – August 22nd.
The family is looking for a summer nanny who will bring warmth, kindness, and fun into their home! An ideal fit is someone who genuinely loves working with children, is organized and responsible, and enjoys spending time in the water.
Position Details:
Location: Madison, WI in the Shorewood Hills neighborhood
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Pay: $25-28 /hr, based on experience
Fourth of July is a paid holiday
Guaranteed weekly pay
Nanny will drive the family’s car for outings & pick-ups
About the Children:
5-year-old (F): Outgoing and creative, loves Barbies, art, dancing, singing, baking, and reading stories. She enjoys being social and playing with others.
8-year-old (M): Thoughtful, sweet, and independent, enjoys Legos, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, baseball, and strategy board games. He prefers solo play but is gently encouraged to play with others when the opportunity arises.
What Your Days Will Look Like:
- Picking the children up from camps and activities (schedule varies weekly)
- Taking them to afternoon lessons, such as ballet and tennis
- Engaging in fun indoor and outdoor activities, including arts and crafts, board games, and sports
- Encouraging social play with neighborhood friends
- Helping with daily transitions, offering a balance of kindness and structure
- Supervising and enjoying pool time – nanny must be comfortable in the water!
Additional Info:
- No allergies in the home
- No pets yet, but the family is considering getting a dog this summer
- Looking for a nanny who can support their son with transitions and routine changes in a patient and understanding way
