About the Job
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Data Analyst II, Merchandising Analytics to join the Tailored Brands Enterprise Analytics team. As a Merchandising Data Analyst, your primary responsibility will be to extract actionable insights from data to optimize product placement and availability, pricing, and promotional strategies. You will collaborate with buying, planning, and visual merchandising teams to drive data-driven decisions. The primary goal is providing insights for the merchandising and planning teams to guide, monitor and measure their strategies.
What You’ll Do | Key Accountabilities
- Data Analysis: Dive deep into sales, inventory, and customer data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities.
- Data Collection: Collect data from various sources to load into Snowflake for use in Tableau dashboards.
- Reporting: Create clear, concise, and insightful reports and dashboards for stakeholders.
- Market Analysis: Analyze market trends to identify new opportunities for increasing sales.
- Presentations: Present analyses in a clear, interpretable, and applicable way that can be shared widely, communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical partners.
- Collaborate: Partner with data engineering, merchandising and planning teams, and across analytics to share learnings, align on methodologies and leverage best practices.
What You’ll Bring | Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in statistics, business, merchandising, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 3 years career experience in a similar role
- SQL: Proficiency in querying databases for data extraction is required.
- Tableau or Power BI: Experience visualizing insights effectively is required.

Work Environment, Physical & Mental Demands
- Ability to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time.

- Hours regularly 40 hours per week, as work dictates, from a remote office location.

The starting salary for this position is $70,200 – $107,600 and may increase to $146,300 depending on merit, length of service with the Company, and other factors. We take into consideration an individual’s skills, background, and experience in determining final salary. Base pay information is based on market location and may be subject to prevailing wage laws, if applicable.
