Position Title: Tuxedo Inbound Manager 

Reports To: Tuxedo Management

Position Summary:

The Tuxedo Manager will provide effective leadership in a fast-paced, time-sensitive operation to oversee all day-to-day production and operations tasks associated with The Tailored Brands Tuxedo Rental operation.  This position is responsible for the success of all pertinent functions within the Tuxedo Distribution Center to ensure that all key metrics and operational goals are met supporting company policies, procedures and safety while creating an inclusive high-performance culture and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities: 

The responsibilities of the Tuxedo Manager will consist of but are not limited to the following:

• Assist Management in overseeing accountability and responsibility for all aspects of Tuxedo operations including but not limited to production, facilities, systems, logistics, materials, health and safety, and employment functions
• Assist in providing vision, direction, and management of operations strategies to increase productivity
• Works closely with management team to recommend improvements that would further maximize productivity and performance
• Help plan staffing, supply, and equipment needs based on operations forecasted volumes
• Troubleshoot and provide solutions for issues of a moderate to complex scope and establishes course of action to ensure that work objectives are met
• Provides reports to management through Warehouse Management Systems and Excel spreadsheet applications to track, analyze and report production numbers
• Contribute to the development of an operating plan and budget and assist with managing or coordinating expenses within budget guidelines
• Resolve any complaints in a friendly and timely manner
• Maintain and promote positive employee relations and morale by practicing good servant leadership principles in a contextual environment setting to always promote teamwork
• Consistent and timely communication with employees regarding production and quality goals and expectations
• Monitor order processing and order fulfillment to make sure customers are happy and minimize the time between an order is placed and the order is delivered to the customer
• Provide daily guidance and hands-on leadership to ensure daily workload is completed in an efficient manner
• Provide a fun and friendly leadership style approach to train, inspire, and motivate team members to achieve desired results in productivity, teamwork, quality, safety, and job knowledge
• Help oversee and ensure performance planning, coaching, and evaluations of direct reports
• Maintain a professional relationship to customers, vendors, and stores while ensuring prompt and continuous customer satisfaction
• Provide proper follow-through of all procedures and processes related to tuxedo operations while maintaining a good flow of communication with management and all personnel
• Handle personnel issues relating to Tuxedo operations and record performance of employees while maintaining a friendly and positive attitude
• Participate in the recruitment process of hiring new employees
• Help manages all production related safety programs and ensure compliance with all Safety policies and procedures

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma (Associates degree or higher in Business or related field is preferred)
• Minimum of 1-year direct experience managing a large number of direct reports in a production, assembly, or in a fast-paced, high-volume distribution center environment with a high degree of responsibility
• Must be “hands-on” with strong leadership and managerial skills
• Must have a “can-do” / positive attitude with a sense of urgency and dedication to the success of the overall business
• Effective time management and conflict management
• Experience in and solid understanding of Process Management, Inventory Control, and Quality Assurance in a production environment
• Prior experience in distribution center operational processes knowledge/background is preferred
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically, driving recommendations and action plans
• Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and proprietary programs
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) with all levels of the organization and able to build effective relationships with others
• Highly motivated and high initiative in providing proactive efforts to resolve discrepancies with a high sense of urgency to meet deadlines
• Analytical and critical thinking skills required to analyze production data and process and controls
• Excellent problem-solving skills in all areas of responsibility and able to handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
• Must have good judgment and common-sense approach to business needs
• Proven experience working with all levels of employees and management and ability to garner the loyalty and trust of both up and down line relationships
• Ability to motivate, encourage, and lead a team-oriented environment
• Must have excellent attention to detail with strong organizational and follow-through skills
• Must maintain a professional and positive attitude at all times with the highest level of customer service
• Posses a sense of urgency required to work in a deadline driven environment
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

·       Dependable and willing to do what it takes to get the job done and flexible in scheduling is required based on retail operations business needs (i.e., increased hours, weekends, holidays, and volume of work, staffing shortages, etc.)

·       Ability to work in a warehouse production environment setting with physical demands

Physical Requirements:

·       Continuously standing, walking, sitting, reaching and working overhead, climbing, balancing, stooping, bending, kneeling, squatting, stretching, crouching, and crawling

·       Frequent use of hands and fingers for grasping, reaching, pulling, and pushing

·       Frequent use of ladders and/or lift equipment

·       Frequently lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds or more
