About the Job

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Manager, Merchandise Analytics to join the Tailored Brands Enterprise Analytics team. As Manager of Merchandise Analytics, your primary responsibility will be to extract actionable insights from data to optimize product placement and availability, pricing, and promotional strategies. You will collaborate with buying, planning, and visual merchandising teams to drive data-driven decisions. The primary goal is providing insights for the merchandising and planning teams to guide, monitor and measure their strategies.

What You’ll Do | Key Accountabilities

• Data Analysis: Dive deep into sales, inventory, and customer data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities.
• Reporting: Create clear, concise, and insightful reports and dashboards for stakeholders.
• Inventory Management: Provide insights to help develop and execute seasonal and annual merchandise buying plans.
• Visual Merchandising: Collaborate with planning and visual merchandising teams to optimize product placement and availability.
• Pricing Insights: Analyze pricing strategies and elasticities to provide recommendations for adjustments.
• Promotional Effectiveness: Evaluate the impact of promotions on sales and customer behavior.
• Market Analysis: Analyze market trends to identify new opportunities for increasing sales.
• Forecasting: Use statistical models to create forward-looking prediction models.

What You’ll Bring | Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in statistics, business, merchandising, or a related field is required.
• Master’s degree in business administration (MBA) or a related field is desired.
• Minimum of 5 years career experience in a similar role
• SQL: Proficiency in querying databases for data extraction is required.
• Tableau or Power BI: Experience visualizing insights effectively is required.
• Python or R:  Familiarity with programming languages for data analysis and statistical modeling is preferred.

Work Environment, Physical & Mental Demands

• Ability to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time.
• Must utilize visual acuity, speech and hearing, hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer and office equipment.
• Hours regularly 40 hours per week, as work dictates, from a remote office location.

The starting salary for this position is $106,800 – $177,900 and may increase to $222,400 depending on merit, length of service with the Company, and other factors. We take into consideration an individual’s skills, background, and experience in determining final salary. Base pay information is based on market location and may be subject to prevailing wage laws, if applicable.
