We currently have an exciting opportunity for Sr BI Engineer to join our Tailored Technology team.  This individual will be responsible for leading initiatives to create, develop, maintain, support and document systems, processes and reporting using Hyperion Suite of applications. Essbase experience required, EDM, Hyperion Planning & HFM experience preferred. 

What you’ll do

• Design and develop Hyperion system suite and applications like PBCS, DM, EDMCS.
• Maintain, resolve and enhance functionality of finance systems.
• Implement and manage new PBCS cubes and process workflows.
• Extensively experienced in ASO cubes.
• Develop and enhance the reports based on VBA code & excel macros.
• Develop various reporting structures and created system and user documents.
• Provide support to Hyperion applications and reporting solutions.
• Support & develop Oracle DRM/EDMCS application and do enhancements as needed.
• Troubleshoot issues and provide resolutions in a timely manner.
• Monitor and execute logical views and data hierarchies in EDMCS.
• Should be able to independently handle the issues, enhancements, customer interactions.
• Should be able to communicate with Business and IT stake holders effectively.
• Able to interact and coordinate with offshore teams.

What you’ll bring

• 8 years Hyperion (System 11.x & oracle cloud) and 5 years Hyperion Planning.
• 5 years of experience of working in Hyperion products such as Hyperion cloud like PBCS, Data management & EDMCS.
• 2 years of experience of working in Oracle DRM
• 2 years of programming languages like SQL, batch scripts, groovy scripting, VBA and Unix Shell scripting 
• 5 years of Experience with databases such as Snowflake, oracle is required.
• 5 year of Oracle/Hyperion reporting products (Financial Reporting, SmartView for Office) is required.
• Requires experience in a highly dynamic environment with high service level expectations.
• Able to write simple queries using SQL to retrieve data from Snowflake for data load in PBCS.
• Experience with Hyperion Essbase (System 11.x) in the areas of design, deployment, and administration. 
• Experience in building dimensions using EDM, Load data using data management. 
• Familiarity with Git, UC4 and other workflow schedulers
• Knowledge of Hyperion Financial Management (FCCS) is preferred.
• Excellent verbal, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and projects with varying deadlines.
• Ability to prioritize with minimal supervision and interact with employees at all levels.
• Must be a self-starter and be able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Experience with reporting tools like MicroStrategy & tableau is a plus.
