Press Support – 3rd Shift
Location: Menomonee Falls, WI

In this role, you'll play a key part in keeping our presses running efficiently by ensuring they have the necessary materials and support.
About the Role
This position requires initial training on 1st shift before transitioning to 3rd shift.
Summary of Position
To assist press operators as needed to keep the presses running at all times.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Verify ink type and pull from inventory
- Make plates as needed (when filling in or as backup) to help with press efficiency
- Mount plates as needed (when filling in or as backup) to help press efficiency
- Pull plates to match ticket requirements to help press efficiency
- Demount and wash plates after use on the ress
- Ink mixing and matching as needed
- Pull raw materials from the warehouse for the press
- Pull proper dies to ensure accurate production of labels
- Maintain the return cart
- Assist press operators with washups on the press
- Clean aniloxes and maintain anilox log
- Insert/remove print cylinders from the press
- Load/remove cutting dies from the press
- Press maintenance as needed
- Unload and discard matrix rolls
- Provide back up to other production areas, including but not limited to: Finishing, Shipping, Warehouse
- Operation of a Flexo press when needed
- Utilize AVP and maintain raw materials inventory
- Other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Fork lift operation
- Ability to read, write and perform basic math problems
- Must possess organizational skills and have the ability to problem solve
- Prior printing experience or related education of 6 months to 2 years preferred
