Job Description :
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our Cost Basis Team. This team is responsible for handling branch inquiries and update requests related to cost basis updates and research in our Global Tax Lots system. The associate will also address and resolve transactional breaks that result in inaccurate cost basis, requiring manual updates.
In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring accurate reporting of covered securities and tax lots to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), making attention to detail and efficiency essential.
Key Responsibilities :
- Respond to branch inquiries and update requests submitted via New Service Gateway and email.
- Research and resolve cost basis issues in the Global Tax Lots system.
- Address transactional breaks to ensure accurate cost basis records.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure adherence to industry and IRS rules and regulations.
- Provide accurate and timely updates to tax lot records.
