Job: SW/HW-Technical Program Manager IV
Location: Sunnyvale, Burlingame, or Redmond (Onsite)
Duration: 12 Months
Pay Rate: $125 - $130/hr on W2
Start Date: 03/03/2025
Responsibilities:
- As the Technical Program Manager (TPM) in the System Health team, you will oversee Power and Performance (PnP) areas for new devices.
- Crafting PnP plans to align with Wearables org strategy and supporting the rollout of PnP features with cross-functional partners.
- Build and execute detailed execution plans, holding yourself and the team accountable for deliverables.
- Report on technical program status in various forums to peers and leadership.
- Plan for risks and develop appropriate mitigations.
- Provide data processing skills and insights on status and gaps to drive business progress.
- Cultivate strong relationships within engineering and across the company, using these as leverage to achieve goals.
- Articulate technology, requirements, goals, and milestones for your program.
- Drive multiple engineering programs and product initiatives, working with teams to define and revise long-term strategy and roadmaps for device system health.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 6 years of experience as a Technical Program Manager managing software or consumer device programs from inception to production.
- Proven experience delivering technical programs or products from start to finish.
- B.S. in Computer Science or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in relationship building and cross-functional collaboration.
- Knowledge of software development and product development processes.
- Experience processing and analyzing large data sets using MS Excel / G-Sheets, with scripting experience in SQL and Python being a major plus.
- Strong background in leading cross-functional teams (software and hardware engineers, TPMs, and product managers).
- Proven track record in managing multiple programs concurrently.
- Experience in communicating program status, risks, and mitigations to both technical experts and leadership.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience building systems and processes for monitoring and improving battery, power, and thermals in a hardware/software system.
- Experience in improving user-facing quality for a hardware/software system.
