Contract Duration: 12 months (with potential for extension or conversion to FTE)

Compensation: $30.51 - $59.13/hr (W2)

Job Overview:

Client’s Cell Banking organization is seeking a motivated Research Associate III with expertise in cell culture to support R&D and cGMP cell bank production. This team plays a crucial role in generating cell banks for clinical and commercial drug substance manufacturing, as well as enhancing and troubleshooting Cell Banking processes. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, scientifically driven, and committed to delivering high-quality biopharmaceutical products to patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct experiments and analyze data to enhance process robustness, productivity, and efficiency.
• Implement engineering projects to improve safety, compliance, and process optimization.
• Ensure adherence to cGMP standards, safety regulations, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Monitor and analyze manufacturing data to support troubleshooting, process investigations, and development activities.
• Assist with regulatory inspections and filings.
• Prepare and review discrepant events, investigations, change records, and risk management documents.
• Provide support for GMP operations as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, Science, or a related field.
• 3 years of relevant experience in industry or academia (candidates with extensive experience may be considered for a senior-level role).
• Previous experience in a cGMP environment preferred.
• Hands-on experience with cell culture process science and development.
• Strong understanding of safety principles, quality systems, and biopharmaceutical manufacturing processes.
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
