Position: Supply Chain Analyst
Location: Newark, CA (Onsite)
Duration: 6 Months Contract with long-term Extension
Job Summary:
- The Client IT Logistics Team is looking for a highly motivated, goal-oriented Supply Chain Analyst to help implement industrial engineering and Lean principles in the processes at our warehouse in Newark, CA. Through a detailed understanding of the warehouse’s objectives and in collaboration with internal and external teams, the Supply Chain Analyst will help improve processes to increase overall efficiency, capacity, quality and safety.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Process Owner in developing and deploying efficient methods to integrate warehouse technicians, tooling, material requirements and data to achieve optimal processes
- Collaborate with Operations Management to identify constraints and execute solutions; respond to tier 1 process issues escalated daily by Operations
- Create and validate time studies in various work areas, while reporting improvement recommendations to leaders
- Recommend and implement updates to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) following the change management process
- Improve workstation safety and ergonomics
Skills:
- Understands the definition of takt time, target cycle time, the 8 wastes, Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), Just-in-Time (JIT), 5S and Plan, Do, Check, Act (PDCA)
- Ability to create process flow maps, floor layouts, multi-process workstation layouts and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Ability to conduct cycle time studies
- Moderate data analysis skills (Tableau/SQL/Python knowledge is a plus)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure while managing competing demands and deadlines
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio)
- Intermediate skills in GSuite (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drawings and Forms)
Top 3 must-have HARD skills:
- Ability to create process flow maps, floor layouts, multi-process workstation layouts and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Ability to conduct cycle time studies

Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in operations management, Industrial Engineering, or 4 years of related work experience
• Expert knowledge of supply chain management.
• Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel.

Salary : $60 - $65
