What are the responsibilities and job description for the Grooming Assistant position at TailTopia?
Grooming Assistant: Must have experience in a grooming salon.
We have part-time to full-time opening for dog and cat bather/ brushers. Must be able to prepare the animals for the grooming. The job requires that you know how to safely bath, brush, deshed, some scissor work, use a force air dryer to dry the pet, clip nails, clean ears, remove hair from ear canal if needed, scissor face, feet, fanny, fly always, take dogs waiting to be groomed for walks, ensure they always have water, and keep the salon clean. The bather/ brusher will also help customers who want to use the do it yourself pet washing stations. Hour are dependent on the groomers need.
Additional hours may be available working in client services.
Additional task will include helping in the boarding kennel, doggy daycare and reception desk as needed.
This is an hourly W2 paid position.
