What are the responsibilities and job description for the Digital Marketer position at TailWag Resorts?
We are seeking a results-driven digital marketer who is passionate about pets, creative in their approach, and analytical in their execution. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing digital marketing campaigns to increase visibility, engagement, and bookings for our resort.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Content Creation & Social Media Management
- Develop and execute engaging social media content (Instagram, Facebook, Nextdoor) aligned with our brand’s voice.
- Plan and schedule posts, leveraging reels, stories, and interactive content to drive engagement and bookings.
- Respond to comments/messages to build a strong community and customer relationships (with DINKS and families).
✅ Lead Generation & Conversion Optimization
- Implement and optimize Facebook & Google Ads to attract new customers.
- Manage and improve email marketing campaigns (Constant Contact) to nurture leads.
- Develop targeted promotions or offers to increase meet & greet conversions and boarding bookings.
✅ SEO & Website Management
- Optimize website content and structure to improve organic search rankings and drive traffic.
- Create and update landing pages, blog posts, and customer testimonials to enhance user experience & conversion rates.
- Track and analyze website performance using Google Analytics.
✅ Partnerships & Local Engagement
- Identify local pet influencers, businesses, and events to collaborate on marketing initiatives.
- Support marketing efforts for in-person events like our Corgi Race, Dog Adoption Day and community gatherings.

Qualifications:
- Proven experience in digital marketing and social media management
- Proficiency in SEO tools and conversion optimization techniques
- Familiarity with email marketing platforms such as Constant Contact
- Strong skills in graphic design using Adobe Creative Suite and Canva
- Knowledge of Google Ads and performance marketing strategies
- Understanding of content management systems and e-commerce platforms
Job Type: Part-time
Expected hours: No more than 15 per week
