We are seeking a Retail Sales Associate to join our team of pet loving staff! You must have a great attitude and be willing to learn about the pet industry and products offered in our shop. You will be responsible for selling products, merchandise, and services in our retail store on Central Ave in Whitefish.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome and identify customer needs while providing excellent customer service
- Performing front desk duties including checking customers out and handling cash as well as opening and closing duties
- Explain our selection of pet products, toys, treats, chews and food to customers
- Monitor and receive inventory to ensure accurate inventory counts and that product is in stock
- Enter and process customer orders
- Keep store clean and stocked
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, or other related fields
- Must be able to lift and move 20-30 lb bags of food
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to build rapport with customers
- Excellent communication skills
