Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using a point-of-sale system.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions with precision and integrity.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving any issues.
- Maintain an organized and clean cashier area, including restocking merchandise and supplies as needed.
- Welcome each guest in a timely manner.
- Understand completely all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines and training programs set forth by the Tailwind Management Company.
- Work as a member of the team to ensure success in all areas of the restaurant.
- Fill in where needed to ensure that service standards and efficient operations are met.
- Maintain a hygienic and safe work environment at all times.
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure food is presented attractively and served at the proper temperature.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Keep the kitchen area clean and organized.
- Prepare coffee and other beverages.
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Strong customer service skills
- Knowledge of food safety protocol
- Proficiency in basic math
Requirements:
- Must be able to pass a background check to receive an airport badge
- Must have reliable transportation
- ServSafe, Food Handlers Certification
