About the Role:

The Retail Lead reports to the General Manager and the Retail Team weekly and as needed by email and phone. As a Retail Lead you are expected to work the specific weekly allotted hours and if more were to be needed, the Retail Manager will need to approve. This position is not a management position and is not expected to do the same duties as the Assistant General Manager or General Manager.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Lead and motivate a team of retail associates, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Weekly pictures should be submitted to the Retail email every Friday.
- Participate and compile monthly inventories. Retail inventory is done on the third Wednesday of every month using R365.
- Greet customers with a friendly attitude and assist them with their purchases.
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using a cash register.
- Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions.
- Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate.
- Process returns and exchanges following company policies.
- Stock shelves and maintain a clean and organized store environment.
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits.
- Ensure exceptional customer service is always provide.
- Train and develop the retail cashiers to ensure they are meeting goals
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Organize initial deliveries, unpacking of boxes, putting away merchandise, organizing items, scan, price, and barcode new item's along with Gift shop staff. Report missing delivery items ASAP to the General Manager.
- Handle customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Experience with ordering and working with multiple vendors.
- Proven experience in cash handling and customer service.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and providing change accurately.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Proficiency with POS systems.
Requirements:
- Must be able to pass background check to receive an airport badge.
- Must be able to lift 25-30lbs.
- Reliable transportation.
- 1-2 years of retail supervisory experience.
