TailWind Voice & Data is seeking a Sales Development Representative to join the team. The ideal candidate is an energetic self-starter with the ability to identify influencers and key decision makers within accounts.
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is pivotal in generating new business introductory calls; targeting companies with multiple locations across North America who are centralized in decision making for the sales team. The SDR is essential for conducting discovery conversations to qualifying leads and scheduling meetings for the sales team to pursue. Success in this role requires strong oral and written communication skills, professionalism, persistence, a positive attitude and a strategic approach. The SDR is responsible to ensure HubSpot is updated with all correspondence between potential leads and meeting weekly/monthly goals. The SDR must be able to handle repetitive tasks of emailing and phone calls through the business day as this is the primary focus of this role.
Responsibilities
- Drive top-of-the-funnel lead generation for the sales team.
- Prospecting new leads through various channels through online databases, social media, LinkedIn, and referrals via phone calls, emails.
- Prioritize and organize follow up communication to keep momentum with prospective leads.
- Schedule meetings between qualified leads and the Sales team to further discuss potential solutions.
- Collaborate with the Sales team to align targeted clients.
- Develop creative ways to engage and build rapport with prospective clients.
- Update and manage all activities, opportunities, account information, and follow-up activities accurately in the CRM HubSpot, ensuring a well-organized approach.
- Report scorecard metrics to the Director of Sales.
- Daily/ Weekly meetings to discuss any challenges/ hurdles preventing scheduling meetings for prospective clients and the sales team.
- Consistently achieve monthly quota of qualified opportunities.
- Follow established best practices to maximize lead generation and qualification efficiency.
- Other Duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or a related field; or 1-2 years of experience in lead generation.
- Preferred knowledge of HubSpot (CRM).
- Experience with B2B sales and lead generations.
- Familiarity with the technology industry and software products.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills,
- Strong customer service orientation and ability to develop and maintain relationships, internally and externally.
- Exhibits professionalism, a strong work ethic and commitment to integrity.
- Ability to efficiently prioritize tasks, organize and manage time.
- Adaptability and ability to think outside the box when addressing potential obstacles.

Compensation is $20-24 per hour (based on experience), plus commissions.
