About the Role
Reporting to the Head of Test, Acceptance and Programme Management, the Acceptance Manager will be responsible for overseeing the acceptance of sites, leading to regional acceptance. This includes managing the submission of Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) and Coverage Verification Tests (CVT) results and collaborating with the Next Generation Critical Communications (NGCC) team to resolve defects and secure acceptance.
You will work closely with the Test Manager and other internal teams to drive efficient resolution of issues, ensuring that regional milestones are achieved on schedule. This position is a fixed term role until December 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Test Manager, RF, and Build teams to ensure defects are resolved promptly.
- Coordinate re-drives with the Test Manager to gather additional data when required.
- Report defects to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Identify and escalate areas of concern to Tait management and stakeholders.
- Analyse recurring defects and provide recommendations for process improvements to support continuous improvement.
- Engage with functional managers and team members as required.
- Provide support to the Test Manager and assist with additional tasks as needed.
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in line with project timelines.
About You

Key Requirements:
- 5 years' experience in testing, ideally within the technology or telecommunications sector.
- Proactive and solutions-focused - you take ownership of challenges and seek solutions without prompting.

- Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
- Solid understanding of Mobile/LMR networks.
- 5 years' experience in the telecommunications sector.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
- Adaptable and comfortable working with cross-functional teams.
- A team player - willing to step in and support colleagues when needed.
