Job Description

The Head of Organization Development and Business Partnering will lead the business partnering function. Working closely with Executive Team members and key business leaders to drive transformation in the company's people practices, with a specific focus on optimizing talent, enhancing leadership capabilities, culture evolution, employee engagement and supporting the growth and scalability of the business. It is responsible for designing and developing strategic people programs, frameworks, and initiatives to both align with and support the achievement of business objectives.

Bringing strong capability in analysis, design, communication and collaboration, this role will work closely with other CTOPS functions and hold a particularly close working partnership with the Head of HR Service Delivery, who will implement, operate and own the integrity of our HR systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities and Outcomes

  • Lead the Business Partnering Function
  • Act as a strategic partner to Executive Team (ET) members and senior stakeholders, specifically with the Chief Revenue Officer, collaborating closely to develop and implement a workforce strategy that enhances organizational performance and ensures future talent and capability requirements are met.
  • Work with the Strategic HR Business Partner and Head of HR Service Delivery to foster collaboration and ensure that tailored HR solutions are delivered to meet regional and functional needs.
  • Partner with senior leadership teams to address business challenges related to talent, leadership development, organizational design, succession planning, and employee engagement.
  • Organizational Development (OD) Strategy
  • Design and develop strategic OD programs, frameworks, and initiatives that drive organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, and productivity.
  • Lead efforts in organizational design, aligning structure, roles, and processes to support business objectives and enhance operational efficiency in collaboration with Head of HR Services Delivery.
  • Develop and implement leadership and talent development programs to ensure that the business has the right capabilities and leadership at all levels to support future growth and transformation.
  • Oversee culture and change initiatives, working to develop and sustain a positive, high-performance culture across the organization.
  • HR Architecture & Framework Development
  • Establish the HR architecture for the business, ensuring it is designed to be effective, scalable, and aligned with the needs of the business.
  • Collaborate with the Head of HR Services to ensure that HR processes, tools, and systems are pragmatic, efficient, and effectively implemented across the business.
  • Continuously review and refine HR frameworks, including talent management, performance management, employee engagement, and succession planning, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals.
  • Partnering with Key Stakeholders
  • Act as the strategic business partner for the CRO and the TAP, TAM, TEMA, and TSA regions, working closely with senior leaders to identify and deliver strategic HR solutions that support business growth and performance.
  • Partner with in-region HR Managers to ensure seamless delivery of HR services and to tailor solutions that meet specific regional needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and leadership to address strategic workforce planning, organizational design, talent development, and other strategic HR needs.
  • Team Leadership & Development
  • Lead, coach, and develop the Learning and Development Manager, ensuring that they are equipped to deliver impactful people solutions and organizational development initiatives.
  • Strong partnership and coordination with the Strategic HR Business Partner (Corporate and TAP) as part of the overarching HR Business partnership team.
  • Build a high-performing Business Partnering and OD team that works collaboratively with other functions and regions to achieve shared business goals

Person Specification (Technical / Professional)

  • Qualifications
  • Required :

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant HR certifications (e.g., SPHR, GPHR, SHRM-SCP).
  • Experience
  • Required :

  • 8-10 years of HR leadership experience, including a significant portion as a global HR business partner or in a senior HR leadership role. Telecom infrastructure or related industry experience is highly desirable
  • Proven track record in leading organizational design and transformation initiatives, particularly in fast-scaling companies or sectors undergoing digital transformation.
  • Strong leadership and influence skills, with the ability to partner effectively with senior executives and navigate complex, matrixed organizations.
  • Deep understanding of global HR best practices, especially in the context of a high-growth, fast-paced, and dynamic business environment.
  • Experience working with international teams and a strong ability to manage HR across multiple time zones, cultures, and regulatory environments.
  • Expertise in designing and implementing change management strategies that promote alignment, agility, and resilience.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex ideas to diverse stakeholders
