Position Purpose
The Producer is a creative leader, project manager, client relationship manager and people manager. As project lead, the Producer is both responsible and accountable for all aspects of the project including the best and appropriate creative intent, IP utilization, quality and feasibility of the design, efficient production, fabrication, procurement and Installation efforts. The Producer ensures coordination across multiple design disciplines and is responsible for the financial profit or loss generated by the effort.

Essential Resposibilities
- Demonstrates excellent project management abilities, able to scope, budget, schedule, track jobs from inception to delivery.
- Manages large projects in: scope, timeline and budget with little to no direction.
- Leads creative and technical teams and work under a Sr. Producer/Exec. Producer and mentor Design Managers and Production Coordinators.
- Negotiates and conducts hard conversations with clients while still doing everything possible to keep them happy.
- Protects the company's creative and financial well-being.
- Focuses consistently on client’s business goals and creative objectives for the project to helps ensure that the project team’s efforts will achieve those goals.
- Performs as a “trusted advisor” to the client and advocate the project requirements to the project team. Strategic thinking is required throughout the life of the project on behalf of the company and the client.
- Clearly defines the lines of responsibility and that there’s adequate coordination between internal disciplines, sub-contractors, clients and other key stakeholders. Identify and mitigate any gaps or overlaps.
- Ensures compliance with the commercial aspects of the project as well as its creative goals, design intent, constructability and production elements of the project.
- Regularly informs and advises Sr. Management of project status, knowing to elevate issues early and with recommended solutions.
- Is responsible for the relationship with IP holders, becoming very knowledgeable of the client’s brand and IP and ensuring conformance with any and all Intellectual Properties requirements.
- Leads creative efforts from concept to delivery.
- Is a strong negotiator with and manager of 3rd party vendors
- Ability to represent the project and the company in front of a client

Requirements
- HS Diploma/ GED, plus 4 years experience in Entertainment Industry or Project Management OR Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Business Management, Construction Management, Liberal Arts – Theater Design/Technology or a related field, plus 2 years’ experience in Entertainment Industry or Project Management.
- 1 years in client management experience in successfully delivering production solutions, preferably in a global client-service organization at this level of responsibility
- Experience working with budgets up to $500K USD.
- Able to use / learn proprietary budget accounting system, such as Deltek, Epicor
- Able to use / learn scheduling software, such as Asana, MicroSoft Project, Gantter, or Merlin.
- Able to create basic spreadsheet calculations.
- In-depth knowledge of project process to be able to develop project strategies and scopes and schedules.
- In-depth knowledge of project process to be able to help develop vendor RFPs, respond to RFIs, write contract scopes, and evaluate bids.
- Knowledge of design management, work planning, budgeting, scheduling, bid package
- Knowledge in location-based entertainment related architectural, project management,
- Possesses solid aesthetic sensibilities and storytelling skills to support the creative process and to facilitate positive and productive communication between all disciplines.
- Experience having some actualized projects in field.
- 4 years of major entertainment development experience; major theme park/themed entertainment/cruise ship development/theater production experience
- Experience in “large project” themed entertainment design and/or management.
- Experience managing location-based entertainment technologies such as ride, audio, video,
