What are the responsibilities and job description for the Audio Video Technician/Installer position at Taiv?
Who we’re looking for:
We’re looking for a entry level A/V tech to join our fast growing market in Tampa
You’ll be responsible for installing and servicing our rapidly growing network of restaurants, bars, gas stations, marts in our market, as well as building strong relationships with our customers. This is a critical role for a detail orientated entry level audio visual technician .
Our product is relatively straightforward to install (only HDMI, power, and RCA).The restaurant AV systems( Matrix) can be difficult to work with and the product is still relatively new, so strong problem-solving skills are required and strong AV knowledge is needed.
Who we are:
Taiv is a fast-growing startup. We build a TV box that detects and replaces TV commercials in restaurants/bars. This lets us show more relevant content, such as the venue's own drink specials, upcoming events, etc. during the commercial breaks, as well as sell more targeted (and valuable) ads. Also stand alone single screens that use our box to run digital signage in gas stations, marts, and different shops.
We’re the first (and only) company in the world that can detect TV commercials accurately. We share a significant percentage of our ad revenue with our restaurant partners. We help make local businesses more profitable and are really proud of what we do. Here’s an article with some more info about us from TechCrunch (https://techcrunch.com/2020/03/16/no-mute-necessary-taiv-replaces-live-tv-ads-at-bars-with-custom-content/)
We have already launched the South Florida, Tampa Bay, Austin, San Antonio, Houston, Dallas, New York, Philadelphia,Atlanta , Phoenix market, with over 1000 live locations.
