TAK Broadband is a leading end-to-end U.S. fiber broadband network construction contractor operating in 42 states. This includes engineering teams, distributors, and more than 100 qualified construction crews with extensive experience across all ISP types and markets; over 300 experienced bury drop crews; and more than 700 professional technicians.
We are seeking a Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you will manage the buried service wire projects, overseeing the entire scope of each project, working with contractors, clients and managing costs and timelines.

The Role
- Develop project scopes, objectives, and timelines in collaboration with stakeholders
- Coordinate with contractors, and clients to ensure smooth execution
- Oversee all tasks across various systems within the assigned region, including but not limited to Penguin Data, VX Field, and Google Sheets
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies
- Prepare and manage project timelines, ensuring cost-effectiveness
- Allocate resources effectively to meet project demands and deadlines
- Lead a team of direct reports. Invest in the growth of this team through mentoring, training, and performance management
- Communicate effectively with all internal and external customers
- Ensure all projects adhere to local, state, and federal regulations
- Enforce strict adherence to safety standards and best practices
- Serve as the primary point of contact for local clients, vendors, and internal teams
- Provide regular updates on project status, addressing any concerns promptly & effectively
- Maintain accurate records of project activities, budgets, and timelines
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Requires broad knowledge of project management and relevant administrative skills
- Proven experience managing buried service wire or similar infrastructure projects
- Familiarity with utility and telecommunications industry standards
- Excellent communication, writing, and interpersonal skills
- Functional knowledge of Adobe Acrobat, MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point)
- Strong project management skills, including scheduling, budgeting, and risk assessment
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or similar)
- Knowledge of underground utility installation processes and equipment
- Strong problem-solving, interpersonal and decision-making abilities
- Valid driver’s license
- Passing of all pre-employment requirements (MVR, Background Check, Drug Screen)
