We are seeking a Quality Control Inspector to join our team in our Denver, CO office. In this role you will be assisting the Engineering Supervisor and team who oversee multiple projects at varies stages throughout the city. Responsibilities will include administrative functions, preparing reports, customer service and all other duties as needed by the department.

The Role

  • Quality control oversight on completed projects, ongoing projects, and awarded projects
  • Daily Safety Checks on in house and business partners in all Montana markets
  • Pre fielding projects to capture any damage that is existing before crews arrive on site
  • Working in GIS with project coordinators
  • Ensure timeliness, completeness, and accuracy of work performed by technicians
  • Perform inspections post install to ensure compliance to client specifications
  • Complete reviews to ensure proper restoration of area
  • Capture photos and attach to the inspection report
  • White line excavations and collects locate data
  • Verifies the system is complying with all safety requirements
  • Performs work in a safe manor, following all OSHA and company guidelines
  • Prioritize, organize, and efficiently complete tasks to meet deadlines
  • Work in a variety of outdoor environments
  • Drives company vehicles responsibly and safely
  • Conducts and attends meetings as needed

Requirements

  • Prior telecommunications industry experience preferred
  • Knowledge of both aerial and underground practices and specifications
  • Experience in both aerial and underground equipment
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Passing of all pre-employment requirements (MVR, Background Check, Drug Screen)
  • Basic mechanical aptitude, ability to utilize hand tools for intended purposes
  • Excellent customer service, time management, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly
  • Ability to read and understand construction drawings
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude while at work
  • Ability to learn and operate testing equipment and software/programs
  • Ability to utilize hand tools, identify wire size/color and accurately utilize measuring devices
  • Ability to carry, climb, operate, and work upon an extension ladder (approximately 28 feet high and 75 pounds)
  • Ability to complete work indoors, outdoors, in tight spaces and elevated by bending, reaching, twisting, climbing, and working while standing up to 70% of the time
  • Ability to safely navigate various terrains, managing equipment and tools
  • A body weight of no more than 275 pounds to perform ladder work safely. **Safety is our #1 Priority. If personal safety is not compromised, an accommodation may be available based on previous ladder experience in a similar role.**
  • Perform construction coordination functions with customers and areas assigned.
  • Ensure that all company property in use by employees is properly maintained.
  • Will adhere to all Company and departmental policies, standards and established procedures.
