We currently have an opportunity for a Junior Technologist or Technologist within the Flavor Applications / Culinary Group located in Rockleigh, NJ.

Essential Job Functions :

• Provide Culinary inspiration and influence by showcasing classical ways of cooking to assist with flavor and product development.
• Basic understanding of researching trends, analyzing data and meaningful translation.
• Create on trend food concepts to support marketing, consumer insights, flavor creation and sensory to achieve desired results and goals with the industrialization / commercialization process in mind.
• Provide learning experiences and share knowledge.
• Design customer and brand specific tasting mediums for flavor and technology evaluation.
• Keep records and establish standard operation procedures for relevant tasks at hand.
• Build experience in leading small groups and teams, offer a sense of direction, collaboration and facilitation skills to obtain clearly defined results.

Educational Qualifications :

Experience :

Experience / Background in the kitchen and / or food preparation in fine dining restaurants or related establishments. The equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable.

Competencies :

Must be computer literate with knowledge of common business software programs including MS Office Suite. Acute sense of smell and taste. Excellent presentation and communication (both verbal and written) skills. Must follow all GMP, HACCP and Food Safety rules and standards.
